Indeo 5.1 Codec Windows Vista

Simply do this:

Open a command prompt (Start -> Run -> type cmd -> [ENTER])

Then execute the command:

regsvr32 ir50_32.dll

That's it. Now WMP can play back Indeo 5 under Vista. The Indeo installer obviously fails to register the dll on Windows Vista...

Happy Viewing!

On Vista, to register a filter from the command prompt you typically have to be running the command prompt with administrator privileges.

If you have Command Prompt on your Start menu, just right-click and choose Run as administrator. If not, open Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\Windows\System32 and find cmd.exe - right-click and choose Run as administrator.

Now run regsvr32 - it should register filters correctly.

This is the most recent update of the Monty python spoof video. Some of the audio clips are just for fun but let me know what you think!
